Life is a Brees

The Saints are not only contenders but Super Bowl favorites. They have destroyed every team in their path, including the Eagles and Giants. No more questions come to mind when I see them play. I see a high octane offense that can put huge numbers on the board. I see a defense that is making plays and continues not to give up the big play. I see consistency out of a team that has been missing it for the past three years, mainly from their defense.
Drew Brees is a superstar, we all know that, but with consistency on defense, the Saints don’t have to worry about scoring more then 50 points to win a game. But in case you haven’t noticed, the Saints offense still puts 50 points on the board week-in and week-out just because they can! Drew Brees is making a strong case for MVP, thanks to his dynamic wide outs including Robert Meacheam, Lance Moore and Marques Colston. Jeremy Shockey has been a safety valve in the red-zone. Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell have led to an explosive running game. Reggie Bush is a good change-of-pace back and receiver. The defense, ranked 6th in total D, is lead by Jonathan Vilma. Their 10 interceptions has helped to get the ball back to the offense. Darren Sharper has been able to turn 2 of his 5 interceptions into TD’s by returning them to the house.
These key players, on both offense and defense, have led to the complete domination of every team on the way to a 6-0 record. The New Orleans Saints are scary good; I look for them to crush anyone and everyone in their path to the Super Bowl.
